Weird Sound

Weird Sound
This problem is on a 97 T100 SR5 V6 3.4L 2WD EXT. CAB
I am experienceing a weird sound at slow speeds (well thats the only time i can hear it). Its as if the tire was rubbing on something-but it is not. And you can only hear it from inside the car, it sounds like the noise is coming from below the dash.
And...
Has anyone else had a problem with there seat belt not retracting???
Any way i can fix this?- short of replacing the whole unit.
thanks

My seatbelts don't retract either. I haven't tried this yet, let me know if its easy.

Ok Elnido, i went to work on my seatbelts about 2 hours ago. Unfortunately my spring was broken, and couldn't just be wound back up. But thats ok, at least i dont have to replace the whole unit, just the spring.
But heres some advice, dont pull off the whole panel, we all know it isn't fun, and dont do it unless you are planning on changeing the speakers, and putting some sound deading products in there. Just loosen it enough to pull the unit out.
It takes about 10 minutes to get the whole unit out and wind the seat belt-which takes a lot of winds-but make sure to watch it and leave maybe one ring around...just to be safe
If you have the time, i would also take the entire seat belt out and wash it in the ol' washing machine, make it nice.
But tightening that spring sure does work nicely, and if you're lucky and it isn't shot like my passenger side was, the whole process should take you only 15-20 min if youv'e been around the area before, maybe an hour if you haven't.
But if you do decide to pull the whole panel off, like i said- make it worth your while.
Thank you so much for your link, i would've ended up buying the whole unit, but this was much easier. Good looking out!
