Tundra AC compressor not engaging
Working on a 2008 Tundra 5.7 today. Compressor had started making a nasty noise and wouldn't operate. Replaced the Condensor, Compressor, expansion Valve and Flushed the lines. Went to charge the system and everything was working well until about halfway through charging the system when the compressor turned off and wouldn't come back on. The pressure switch was jumped and the AC obviously on. I tried replacing the relay and no luck. If I manually give the compressor power via a power probe at the relay connector the compressor comes on just fine but no luck on its own. Bad AC switch even though it lights up?

Did the new compressor get new oil as well when you refilled? Still, even it did, I doubt ac would be fixed without being absolutely sure your evaporator and accumulator were ok. Usually if you're not sure, you end up replacing that as well or any part that can hide a restriction and prevent the refrigerant from circulating through. From what you put out, it looks like the electrical aspects are good. Since you've opened the system, it's also good practice to replace O-rings too. If it's not restriction, you may have a leak somewhere. I've not been successful in locating if I had leak, despite the UV approach and listening for hissing, but the original compressor on my Accord is still functional when it's jumped (BRIEFLY). Running a compressor without refrigerant/oil will damage it. I would replace whatever other major component you haven't replaced yet, and it looks like the evaporator and accumulator are left, along with O-rings.
You'll have to evac what you put in and start over.
From my understanding, once moisture gets into the system, like through a leak or lack of refrigerant, things get damaged from the inside, and can lead to restrictions in the components, as the effects of moisture build up.
