Talking T-100 custom color paint job

Just thought i would share with other t-100 owners my new paint job. It turned out pretty good to me. It took me a totaled of 21 hours to paint it. It is a Candy Apple Dep red. I used R-M carizzma candy paint. I painted jambs and under the hood also. Well here is a link to the pics please let me know if the link don't work. This link has pics of my truck before i painted, and then some with the silver base coat, and then some as soon as i pulled it out of the booth, and some with it put back together. I've ordered new side moldings and fender trim moldings that haven't came in yet that i still got to put back on. Well let me know what yall think.

It looks good! That's cool that you are able to do the paint yourself. Are you a painter or is it a hobby for you?

That looks great! I have always loved candy red paint. I personally think it would look really nice if you got some of the newer style T100 rims with the 5-spoke design, they also came on 2002-2002 4Runners.

So 21 hours x $75hr = $1575 + cost of paint =

I won't be doing that anytime soon unfortunately.

Thanks.. im a body man at body shop around here and i just paint on the side.. i would love to be a painter one day though.. maybe one day i'll work my way up to that.. I like the 5 star wheels too that came on them.. but they only came in 16".. and i haven't had the wheels i got on there now too long.. they are factory tacoma wheels that i had sent off and diped in chrome.. they are a 15" and tires for them cost enough.. haha so i would hate to be buying 16" tires..

Oh, I thought your rims were 16's since those came in both 15 and 16" sizes.

Wow, that looks really good. Nice work. I think you should get bumped up to painter soon.
