Satoshi Mods for Tundra Already Made

I saw this in the PP catalog and was kind of jealous that you have a Satoshi mod ready to go that you can buy from a company. Here's the link:

I would buy it for $219 plus $40 for an emblem, just me, I hate fiberglass, and bondo, can't do it to save my life.

Come on Bob. You're downplaying the true cost. Eric sold his grill bondoed for $100 w/ the emblem. He paid more than that. Here you get something all ready to go...

ok, here's the breakdown for me:

- 96-98 grill: free
- emblem: around $40
- bondo/fiberglass: under $20
- spraypaint: $6
- Misc materials: $5
- grill material: $25-30...can't remember exact cost

you can find a grill for under $40 on ebay shipped.

total cost for me was still under $100. you got my writeup and others like calrocx that shows you how to do it in nauseating detail. this was my first fiberglass/bondo projects and if i can do it, anyone can.

looks nice. for the price, does this thing make your truck faster? I have an 03 tundra and just love the grill design. This after market grill does look good for the older tundras, though, just a little expensive.

Best speed mod, bang-for-the-buck-wise, has still got to be the TRD sticker...
