Pull out the annual Consumer Reports Auto Guide, look up two year olds of each on any auto price guide, read reviews from places like Edmunds, call their insurance agent for comparative quotes, most of all drive each and that should do it unless they need to tow a house.

 

That's how I convinced my friend's to go with a Toyota instead of a Jeep GC. Dodge Durangos also don't hold their value well.
