Door buzzer???
#2
ive disabled my buzzer on both of my 4runners (98 and 99). the 99 was located on the back of the instrument clsuter and the 98 was located near the driver's side fuse panel in a little yellow box.
both buzzers were housed in a cylindrical housing with two membranes.
i have no idea about your tundra, but take a tube, stick one end up to your ear and probe around to find it. once you find the location, start taking panels off. re-listen with the tube and remove the unit.
once you find it, you have three options:
1) puncture the membranes so there will be no sound- the "bridge of no return" option
2) tape the hole up (mute the sound)
3) fill the housing up w/ some silicone material to really mute the sound
Option #1 was the route i chose b/c i hate that buzzer. the only downside is that the buzzer is the same buzzer that lets you audibly know that your lights are on.
If i were to do it again, id do option #3. or #2 with ALOT of tape

buzzer
The other option is to pull the sensor out of the door that tells the buzzer when its open and cut one of the wires. Just make sure you dont cut the one that turns the domelight on.
