Hello all I have a 2002 Toyota Sequoia, recently the battery light came on and I had it tested but nothing was coming up faulty from the mechanic, I kept having the same issue with the battery light on the dash and it finally tested that the voltage regulator was faulty in the alternator, I bought a new alternator and just installed it and the battery light is still flickering on and off and it is showing that the alternator is pushing out between 14 and 16 volts, I think it is still overcharging I don't understand why a new alternator would be doing this does anyone have any ideas?
