'04 tundra rear end gearbox

'04 tundra rear end gearbox
Notice a leak around the circular shaped dome on back side of gearbox. Is this a seal? No bolts for removal. Looks to be very corroded looking. is this normal on this area? Im confused? Please help thank you.
