04 Sequoia No Throttle Position Sensor?
My 2004 Sequoia is showing all the signs of a bad throttle position sensor. One day throttle works great, the next will have mild to drastic hesitation (2" on the gas pedal gets you nothing). Occasionally at a stop light it will want to lurch forward for no reason. Idle is perfect. Napa and the Dealership parts dept show no TPS for this vehicle. Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor is all they list. RockAuto.com points to Cam Shaft and Crank Position Sensors. 2004 Tundra and the Lexus GX is the same. Check engine light is NOT on but has worked in the past flagging a bad O2 Sensor. Otherwise, well maintained and running great at 178k miles.

If I'm not mistaken the 2UZ-FE engine in your truck has the throttle position sensor "made" into the throttle body assembly and is not serviceable separately without replacing the throttle body assembly.
