How-To: HitchMount LED Pod Trailer Pin Modification | Diode Dynamics
If you're concerned about theft of your HitchMount LED Pod, then this simple modification can be performed in just a couple of minutes to save your investment!
Requirements:
• C1/C1R HitchMount LED Pod
• Cutting Pliers
• Locking Pin
Cutting Pliers | HitchMount LED Pod | Locking Pin
Use the cutting tool of your choice to remove the retention tabs on our snap-fit housing
Retention tabs have been cut from both sides of the housing successfully
With the snap-fit housing retention tabs removed, you can now prepare your locking pin
Your locking pin of choice can now slide through the vehicle receiver and HitchMount housing
Security has been added to protect your HitchMount LED pod
C1 HitchMount Red Running Light Displayed
C1R Includes an additional High Power Red 4th Brake Light with Safety Strobe Feature
High Power White Reverse Light included with C1/C1 HitchMount LED Pod
