wiring diagram

hi

i have a Toyota Prado (landcruiser 90 series) with 5VZ-FE 3.4 V6 engine


does anyone know wers the Air Temp Sensor is on a 5VZ-FE 3.4 V6..

they say its on the Air Flow Meter... if so.. does anyone know which wires r for the Air Temp Sensor?

would anyone have a wiring diagram for the 5VZ-FE 3.4 V6..

Hi, and welcome to the forums!

On the 3.4L the IAT (Intake Air Temperature) Sensor is part of the MAF (Mass Air Flow) Sensor. The MAF's on these trucks are a 5 Wire setup.

Here's a pic:



Since the wire color isn't likely to be exactly the same on your truck as it is on mine, I can't give you that information. I can tell you that on mine it is a Yellow Wire with a Green Stripe. The THA Terminal is the one you are looking for.

Why did you want to know this anyway? Just so you know, modifying the IAT Sensor on these engines does NOTHING for performance. Modding the ECT Sensor does however.

well i saw a mod in the web... with changing in the air temp would advance the timing.... n so forth..
