Early Land Cruisers All solid front axles and Land Cruiser series - 25, 40, 45, 55, 60, 62, and 80

is there a difference between fj60 and fj62 axles?

is there a difference between fj60 and fj62 axles?

whats the difference between FJ40, FJ60 and FJ62 front axles?? i couldnt find anything with the search button....

The long side of the 60 and 62 housings are 3 inches longer than a 40 housing. Short side is the same. The FJ62 front has a gusset on the bottom going from the pumpkin out to almost the spring perch on the long side. It is also on the HJ60s up here.

Tech trivia on IH8MUD has all that stuff.

FJ60 axles have 3.73 gearing
FJ62 axles have 4.10 gearing

Other than that they should be the same
