Wow, not alot of threads in here. Anyway, went to a carshow in Rutland, Vt this weekend and saw this little jem. Talked to the owner a bit. He told me that this was 1 of only 7 made. Its an extra long frame with a tool box between the bed and the cab. This was a mining truck in Canada, and because it spent a majority of its like underground, it came from the factory without any mirrors. This is the only pic I took.

Hmmm the elusive 45 mine truck... Heard of a few of these around but not that old. More diesels. I heard of a pilot that was flying stuff out of a mine and they told him he could keep 2 of them when they got them out. At least one is in Victoria last I heard.

 

that truck also has cable lockers front and back...
i could have gotten one with a plow only like 5000 kms all in lowrange locked prolly... for about 4-5 grand but no vin since it was a miner truck..

they are all diesel

 

Judging by the vintage of that truck I highly doubt it was diesel or had cable lockers.

VINs are easy enough to find for trucks that are highly susceptible to rust... 4-5 would have been a good deal if it was fully equiped.
