Lift/tire combo

Before I post my question...cruising toyota's website today and new land cruiser cost 78k....wtf....i'm poor.

So tax check will be coming in in about a month or so and thinking about 2.5 OME lift with 35' pro comp tires (Or does anyone recommend a better tire...just like pro comp you can buy 3 get one free). I know many threads about lifts and tires. But 2.5 is enough to run 35's right? Also I have brand new Falken Zies 31's that I will be selling for pretty cheap if anyone lives in the dallas area.

What kind of vehicle is fairly important information in order to be able to answer your're question correctly.

I've seen and heard a lot of folks that hated the Procomp tires. Just FYI, its your truck, and I know they're inexpensive, but search around a bit a make a very informed decision to lessen the chance that you will hate them... Constantly out of balance, out of round, separation, blow-outs, etc.

But others may adore Procomp tires.

And what model Cruiser? I presume an 80?

First I'm going to upgrade my rim to an 8inch so i can fit 35 12.50 tires. Most likely going to go with bfgoodrich. I'll post pic in about a month or so when tax return comes
