I found a gem in the rough! I know, it's not a 40, but man, I have looked for a long time and finally it came to me. 1990 FJ62... (the 4Runner is now at a new home and in good hands!)

Ill play, Just got on this site a while ago for some better 4runner advice. (Timing belt and all related schtuff)

This is my "first" kid.
have a 97 runner and a 08 Sienna as well for the "real" kids.

This was a 6+ year build. By no means a resto. A lot of stuff cobbled together.

71 frame and body 75 motor, trans, transfer, 77 axles with mini truck birfs,
40 dollar paint job.
4 wheel disk brakes,
Warn 8274 in the front now. 35 MTRs.
Hard half doors.
5 points.
Tire carrier. and some other goodies.

Too many bloody knuckles and curse words to count. but I have learned a lot along the way. Made some great friends, and have some more tools in the toolbox.

(including a timing belt tool for the 4runner now)
