Hey everyone, its been a long time since I've been online here. I just had a quick question.
I have to give a quote on a front brake job with both rotors being replaced. I don't remember if this LC has just 2 bolts holding the rotor to the hub. Or do the lugs need to have their shoulders cut off in order to replace the rotor and have new studs installed.
I have to drive out a ways so I wanted to be prepared when I get there. He's supplying the pads and rotors.

FJ60? Or FZJ80? It should have 6 bolts holding the rotor to the hub.

2.5 hours (flat rate) to replace rotors and pads. Keep in mind, the bearings should be repacked and new seals installed.

Just the two bolts holding the rotors to the hub. And then drive out the lugs with a brass drift.

How is the mobile mech business holding up for you?

Hey thanks. The biz is decent. When it rains it pours! But like sunny SD it doesn't rain enough.
I am getting some good word of mouth and I advertise through CL. Thinking about putting an ad in one of the local small community newspapers. I think the 'old' people who still like to open a paper with their coffee will see me. The ones who don't get online that is. I still want their business.
I lower cars and advertise lifts on trucks but am limited on what I can offer mobile.
I don't want to wreck my back or anything like that.

It keeps me busy enough to stay off yotatech for long periods of time.
