h engine clutch question

can anyone tell me how the throw out bearing is supposed to attach to the clutch fork in my h engine (circa 1980)? when I pulled it out a while ago, i don't remember disconnecting anything, thought the bearing just fell out but that doesn't seem right. there are no ears on the bearing carrier.

the fork:

are there supposed to be any kind of clips or anything?

also where on earth literally do i find a manual for this car - 4/80 hj45 troop carrier?

turns out it doesn't attach - the spigot just keeps it centred.
