FJ60 Upgrade

Has anyone ever thought of putting a 5VZFE 3.4L into a FJ60 along with a smooth shifting 5-spd. I am thinking of trying it but need to research it first.

Any thoughts?

I know that someone put the 3.4 into their 40. I was going to do that, and I'd still like to, but it is pretty complicated and certainly very expensive all said and done.

Hey guys,

This is a little off topic so sorry to hijack the thread. Where can I find differential ID info for the FJ60? I am probably going ot buy one soon and would like to know what kind of axles I have. I know of the sites for trucks, tacomas and 4Runners but don't know where I can get info on land cruisers.

Thanks in advance!
