FJ60 to buy or not to buy that is the question??

WHat do you guys think of the FJ60 with the 3F gas engine? My brother is looking at buying one in SOuth Africa (lives there). Any experience with it, and tips on buying? Things to watch out for. He wants something that can fit his family (3 kids) to go off road with.

Also any known engine swaps for these?

Thanks guys.

Buy Buy Buy,
I had a 60 and loved it! I wish the NE winters hadnt rusted it to death. That truck will go anywhere. BUY BUY BUY. I still look at buying old Ca trucks.

Check out IH8Mud. That site specializes in Land Cruiser Info. One of the forum sections is specific to older model LCs (FJ40, FJ55, FJ60 and FJ62). They should be able to handle any question you or your brother may have.
