fj-60 axle parts
so im gathering parts for my s.a.s
i am reading that my calipers will work with this axle from my 4runner but the backing plates and all the brake parts wernt on the axle i got... so i assume i can buy tehe roators anywhere... anyone know where to get the backing plates?? do 4runner ones fit since the calipers do??
heres from pics of the almost free axle!!!!

anyways im going to completly rebuilt the axle with longs... hopefully the guy said it was a 4.10 so i wont need to regear right away... its only a trail rig...

FJ 60 were 3.7 gears. FJ 62 were 4.10.
I bought an axle with rusted out backing plates. Posted a wanted ad on IH8MUD.com, and bought a set. Most people said to run without them, but I wanted them on.
Accy's for cuiser axles are harder to come by (lockers, etc) and the diff is different than the mini.
