From Paper: "77 Toyota Land Cruiser. Gd Tires, new starter, plugs. No Rust. Repainted in 2003. Traditional Red sides. Wht. Top, Military configuring. Gd Transmission, 6-cyl engine. Gd compression. Engine has carb problem. $500."

Sounds like a deal, but some questions for all you pro's.

What is military configuring?

How hard are carburator problems to fix?

When do these engines die, mi? - 2L i believe.

Also I have 2 carbs for 22R's. Can I use any of those parts? or how much should I expect to pay for a new carb?

"red sides, white top" sounds like an FJ55 wagon.

There are replacement carbs avail. These also can have intake manifold leaks. If it is in any shape at all, the parts are worth that. Disk brake front axle.
