1992 Land Cruiser door glass run channels
All of the windows run slow. I tried silicone spray on the run channels. That helped a bit for a while. A body shop guy slathered wheel bearing grease in the channels. He destroyed them, IMHO, I feel need to replace them before they attract dirt, scratch the windows and burn up the motors.
The runs are expensive. I am having trouble finding instruction on swapping them out. One utube source says I need to take to doors apart, uggg. The part numbers appear to be:
Front Door Right Hand side - 68141-60010
Front Door Left Hand side - 68151-60010
Rear Door Right Hand side - 68142-60011
Rear Door Left Hand side - 68152-60011
Before I buy $500 worth of stuff I was hoping to confirm the part numbers. Are there internet vendors that have schematics with part numbers? I am having trouble being sure what I need.
Any good instruction how exactly to replace the runs?
Thanks

Welcome!
I have never worked on an 80 series Land Cruiser, but I am willing to bet the doors will need to be disassembled to access the bottoms of the channel runs. It appears that the part numbers you show fit all FJ80 Land Cruisers.
Unfortunately, this forum is lacking in knowledge in the Land Cruiser department.
You might want to start a thread over on IH8MUD and talk to the fine folks there about replacement and sources for the window channel runs. They know pretty much everything you ever wanted to know about your 80 series Land Cruiser.
