Says Terd on the Side - WHY!?!?

WHY OH WHY does Toyota insist on printing terd on the side of their newer trucks these days!?!? Help me here!!!!

Yes, I know it's really TRD, Toyota Racing Development. But I see TERD and phonetically it's TERD. Can't they come up with something else? Give me an acronym, ANY ACRONYM that doesn't sound or look like terd!

Am I alone in this or do some of you 'Yota Heads feel me?

I vote for NO acronyms at all. Of course I don't like acronyms for other reasons but, yeah, I agree with you. TRD was going to get the nickname "Turd".

I think having a decal that simply says "Toyota Racing Development" would be much better.

Does the lack of responses after 2 days indicate that we're in the minority on this? And yes, I'm in favor of just spelling things out; ax the acronyms all together and I'd be fine.

What does "Development" mean on that acronym anyhow? Is Toyota still developing their racing division or something? Is it experimental? Why is it still in development? They should've taken more time in the development and conception phases when they were coming up with that acronym.

Either way, I don't want my truck to say TERD on the side. I guess I'm just glad the acronym didn't turn out to be SHT.

Drank coffee which caused me to poop this morning. Coffee does that. Naturally, my mind wandered as I sat perched on the toilet bowl and I thought of TRD which in turn reminded me of modern Toyota trucks. Sheesh. Is this how Toyota wants their trucks to be thought-of?

I don't have a problem with the TRD acronym. It's all good to me. Just my .02

If you don't care for a TRD sticker on the side, just peel it off. Simple.
