I had a whining noise from engine compartment similar to a transmission whine sound. Repair shop told me it was brake booster that could not close due to computer glitch. They reset it and $160 dollars later I drove off. Noise returned in a week and then all dash warning lights came on. Obviously a short of some kind. Thoughts? ( see separate post inquiring if I can disconnect brake booster and drive it?)
