'79 beagle hauler

Het guys I need some help the truck is a2000 prerunner 2.7 engine it will not start and the tail light don't work or blinkers nothing got fire to starter what should I do next.thanks

Check the spark plugs. take out one of the plugs and turn it over with the lights off to see if you've got spark. if you have one of those testers that lights up when it gets current that should work too.
You probably have an electric fuel pump so check that too. If it is anything like my 78, the pump wont start unless you are turning over the motor or the truck is running. Of course I was an idiot and though my pump wasnt working so I wired it to a switch which I kind of like now.

Can you please elaborate on what it does or doesn't do. Do you have 12 volts at the battery? Do you have spark? do you have fuel? Does the starter engage the motor and turn it over? does it turn over healthy or is it rotating slow and sluggish?

sounds like a bad battery or fuse
