Rear bumper question..

Rear bumper question..
I have a 2006 tacoma reg cab 2WD truck and I need to replace my rear bumper! So my question is, does it need to be that exact models bumper that I need to buy or can I put on different models bumpers and if so, which ones? I don't really know anything about this so any help is apprieciated!! lpease and thank you!
I did look around for other threads that had the same question but I didn't really find any but I also have never used this site till 15 minutes ago so i am very new!
