Dually axle swap on 2wd pickup
Hey, LMK if this is the right thread or not for this question. I was looking to put dual wheels on the back of my 85 Toyota pickup 2wd base. I was wondering if anyone has done this swap before, and if there is an axle that can just bolt in with no real hassle. The reason I want to do this is because I want to be able to haul more crap, and I think duals look cool.
If there isn’t an easy, bolt in axle that I could get, could I just beef up the stock axles (5.29 gear ratio, chromoly shafts, etc.) and go to a shop to get dually adapters? I’m a noobie, so tell me if there is a better thread to post this in. Thank you so much!

your best bet would be to find a dually out of a 2WD motorhome, not the easiest to find. If you get lucky you might find a full floater.
Downside to that is that the dually axles have a different bolt pattern
