3y engine new weber carb

Hey guys I need some help. 1984 hiace, 3y engine, Yh61 series
I have a 32/36 DGEV weber carburetor on a 1984 hiace with a 3y Engine. The old carb was useless. The new carb doesn't have a vacuum port for the PCV valve. In the past I have just stuck the PCV valvle into a bottle and left the breather open. I noticed I started to get some oil leaks about a year later of this method of just venting into the atmosphere, so I swapped my PCV valve for a new one however this hasn't solved the problem. Some oil will come out the breather hole unless I have the dipstick or PCV valve removed. It seems that the PCV is bad even though it is new, but I can suck on it and it will open. Maybe it needs some vacuum. Where can I route a vacuum line to? On the underside of my air filter housing there is a hole, would it be okay to put into that? Or does it need to go under closer to the intake manifold.
Hoping adding a vacuum to draw out the gasses will stop the oil being pushed out elsewhere.
Cheers
