02 tacoma thermostat

I just put a new radiator in and pulled off the thermostat housing. Couldn't pull the thermostat out. Is it just stuck in there or is there a trick to it?

No trick. They just sit in the housing with the gasket around the t-stat.

yep. And when you get it out of there, if you are replacing it, make sure to use a stock toyota Tstat not an aftermarket; the toyota ones have a much bigger hole allowing more flow, not too expensive either.
