toyotafiberglass- Vince's 4Runner
Vince rolled into the shop today for some new 1/4rs , tail gate skin and paint . his truck was previously repaired , welded and bondo'd a few years back . (NOT by us)
also just previously the L front fender was replace with our fiberglass .
so here we go

got the roof off and interior out , tail lights , fuel filler door ect ...


and ready to cut the 1/4rs off

this runner wasn't to bad on the out side .. although it had been "fixed" once by someone else .
so if you have a "keeper" and are thinking of welding patches in .. have a close look at what might be lurking on the inside

got the inners all cleaned and prepped for some POR15 .




also fit the panels , got everything trimmed to fit , and all prepped .. like the fuel filler pot .. nutcerts installed


and NEW panels test fit ...

so Vince's original Tailgate was toast , and not worth repairing , so we needed to find a replacement .. finally found a "good" one . so now we can continue
damaged skin removed (was in an accident)

I got everything cleaned up and ready for some POR 15 . 24 hrs later
all cured ,


and new FRP skin all prepped

time for some epoxy



and clamped

will fit tomorrow , and off to paint
