Thanks Slacker for taking the time to make that for me. I still need to do the interior on my 85 and will go on the hunt for for some seats for it. We dont have many Supras around here but I eventually will stumble into a set.

That is a work out stripping down an engine bay getting it ready for paint. It can be tight getting around in it with a paint gun as well. I did a color change on my truck and glad I did but sure not in no hurry to do it again. I was asked to paint the engine bay of a guy around here and said I would if he stripped it down and reinstalled everything. That got me out of that one.

Always enjoy following some serious teardowns and rebuilds and you do a geat job. It is rewarding when you get them on the road knowing you literally have touched every nut and bolt and it is your work that is getting you down the road.

hope it helps Terry .. if you need anymore info on this .. let me know .

yep lots of work in the engine bay , but I'm also doing a 3.4L swap , and DD booster with V6 calipers . all 1/4 " lines as well . so I pretty much had to strip it all down anyway

Did you shoot any epoxy primer or POR15 before the bedliner? I just finished painting the bottom of my cab with epoxy primer, and was thinking of using bedliner over that. I've got a couple of spray cans of Duplicolor. Any thoughts would be appreciated

yeah buddy ...

I have epoxied the whole front end , after the wet blast . then added the bed liner over top of the epoxy , after "scuffing" the epoxy of course

Setting body gaps can be a pain in the rear but makes a nice difference when done. Motor looks great. Hoping to get to do some powder coating this winter. Like how the motor is looking.

It's all about pride, patience and educating yourself. Anybody can do anything if you follow those steps.

Dave , you forgot " vision " and I think this is the most important .
You can have all the tools in the world , and everything else ,but without a "vision" of what your doing , it isn't going to happen , or be haphazard

It takes some flexibility to get at all the angles in the engine bay. Looking forward to seeing some color on it.
