I look forward to helping you in the spring .
impressive build again Corey. Did I miss something! the original picture of truck doesn't have sunroof. did u fab it in. And I totally agree. This truck needs the factory blue stripes. If it was mine I would. There is a picture of the factory blue stripes on white truck on page 15 of 1983 and earlier pictures, trucks alittle dirty, would post but don't know how.
Toms cab was full of rust , so we actually replaced the cab with one we had previously built .
also , Tom has agreed to go with the stripes ... I know he'll be happy
We already have the paterns , and have been selling them for a few years now . we're just going to match the colors to the interior as best a possable fo a "custom" package for Tom

dying and some wiring today ...
some pieces being color matched

and also got the guage pod installed
spliced a new harness into the main harness , and also wired the guages

built a harness for the main harness , and the guage pod , so now "plug and play "

and installed

new LED's in the guage pod

little work on the dash today
also got the speedo done
We're switching out the old speedo for one with a tach , Toms original had a better condition glass then the replacement , so i opt to use that one .

pulled it all apart to clean the 32 year old dust off of the surround and the guages

polished the glass , inside and out

and back together .... and oops , original glass didnt have the trip meter hole , so I had to cut it ..
done and looks much better

also , got the dash in place

this was buggin me , so I ended up going in on sunday to fix this .
at first I though the cluster would have just been "wired" different . but turns out the pin location is the same in the wiring diagram ? so after thinking about it for a bit , I just decided to pull it apart again , and swap name tags

so now all good

I powder coated the bumper in a "satin" finish and painted the filler panel

cleaned up the sign lamps , and also the inner chrome paint was delapitated , so I refinished this as well

powder coated the bolts and now all back together and ready to install

and a pic for Tom

I hope your lovin' it

tail lamps pulled apart to be "freshened up "
cleaned up the sockets and the inner side of the lenses

again the plactic was faded , and one side damagedand needed replacement . so to make the 2 different housings match , I decided to bring the "blue" theme to the tailgate

and lens bezzles

installed

also got the fuel filler pocket and door back together on his NEW fiberglass box
