Yeah, I know what you mean. Sometimes Canadian Tire has better prices/quality than PA does. I bought a crimp set, with a crimping tool and connectors...ended up throwing out the crimping tool and buying one from Lordco. And the connectors are just one step away from being junk.

Oh, well...you get what you pay for.

well I finally got my sound deadner .. and got a bit done .. WOW , this is maticulas work , and takin' alot of time !!



and now have the pedals back in so now i can finish up the engine bay

finished up with the sound deadner (firewall area) .. so now I can finish up the dash and engine bay wiring

wow , that things looking great ..

what kind of sound proofing stuff are you using ? looks like it works really well around all the little curves and stuff.

one of the last things in the engine bay "to do list" is the front emergency cable ..

got it all cleaned up - put together



and installed with final connections .



also started on the body harness .. got it in place .. and now installing the little circuts lke the door switches , dome lamp ect..
engine computer ..



and body harness



almost ready to start looming the wires ..

also got my dash pad back from the upholster , I'm very happy with it and now very excited to get the dash in place

so continued working on the wiring today ..

got the passender side all wraped and sorted .. and fit the kick panel



Drivers side kick panel also installed after cleaning up the rats nest + the hood release cable



and also got the main wire bundle loomed



wired and loomed the underside



and ready now for the heater box and main dash body

Looking Great Slacker! Keep up the good work. This should be really interesting watching you put this back together. I'll probably use this thread numerous times as a reference when I restore my Custom Cab sometime in the future.
