RunningWriter's 2013 4Runner Build-up Thread
First post. Just starting with baseline, 5th generation 4Runner. I know 4Runners have gotten a bit big and heavy. May add an earlier one when finances permit, but needed something for business, also capable of offroad AND 5,000 lb tow.
Appreciated iDRiVaT4R's post with first mods in this thread. Similar info from anyone else with 2010+ much welcomed. I'm low on the learning curve. Thanks for what appears to be a great forum.

Red Wagon,
Thanks for the greeting and request for photos. Have a 2013. Just have been so busy at work (gotta pay for it, right?) that I haven't had a chance to post photos. No significant modifications toward a build yet, so still pretty much stock.
Best wishes for 2014!

It's good to see other 5th.generation 4 runners getting lifted. I will do that after my first project
Off road lighting with the wires entering the vehicle through the roof under the end cap for the rails. I even found on off switches through both the Toyota dealer and Amazon and yes they fit the switch blanks in my 4Runner.
