tow package 98 sr5 auto ?
Hey guys , had a question that I've been Googling for the last few days . On my 98 sr5 4runner it has a button that is for norm/power by the e-brake,I read its for towing. I use it when towing my boat with no issues ,
My question is , does that mean the 4runner has a factory tranny cooler installed ? I need to tow a camper pretty soon and wondered if I needed to buy an after market cooler ? Wondering what all a factory tow package has included in its "package". And I have a hitch on the back , don't know if its factory, or previous owners installed it , any way to tell the rating ? I've looked for identification marks but haven't seen any on the hitch, makes me think its factory . Any way to tell if it is , and if it is factory, how much is it rated for ?
Any help would be appreciated ,
PS has anyone towed a large camper with a runner , I'd like any info on it , mine is 22 ft , but weighs 3500 , and has hydraulics that drop the top to almost as tall as the runner , little taller . Thanks for your input .
