RSH1's 1998 Tacoma Build-Up Thread
I recently got a steal of a deal on a 98 Tacoma with only 112k miles on it so I sold my 4Runner of the same year and started over. It has been neglected and I have already started on some of the transformation.
The rear driver leaf springs had a broken leaf and both sides were in dire need of re-arching. I took it down to the guys at Automotive Spring and Overload and they fixed me up really nice. They fixed the leaf, re-arched both sides, added a leaf to the rear and a spacer in front to allow some bigger tires.
I took some pictures this morning before I dropped it off at the body shop. I'm getting the driver and passenger doors, roof, tailgate and side panel fixed and painted.

After that...
1. Tires and Wheels
2. Interior cleanup, floor mats, seat covers
3. Spray-in bedliner (maybe the rocker panel too)
4. Roof rack for camper
5. ....

How much did it cost you to do this? I am thinking on re-arched mine and wondering if it is better to but a set of deavers.
