thanx for the link to yur thread. this runner looks great.
your hand crafted bumpers are fantastic! can you give a ball park on cost of materials per bumper? i plan to contract someone locally to build mine someday. i haven't investigated cost at all yet, because higher priority purchases are tugging on my wallet already, but it's on the to-do list. i'm pretty sure i can draw up a nice design that a good welder can easily follow.

did you also build your rear tire carrier? my girlfriend tore off my roof rack, the thule MOAB, and the spare tire it was carrying when she tried to go into a parking garage, lemme know if you purchased your rear tire carrier as im searching for a solution...
