Greentoyota's 1999 Pickup Build-Up Thread

Why Zombies? Why not Zombies?

This is a 1999 2.7L 4cyl Xtra Cab and I am the only owner. It has 142K miles and with 31in tires on stock rims. This is my first try at a suspension upgrade and a 3in lift.

The lift is a 3in Toytec Lift from OME with a Full leaf replacement. I also am doing a 1in Diff drop and replacing the steering bushings as well.

After the lift I plan on putting on 15x8 American Racing Outlaw Baja II rims. I am thinking of putting on 32in tires from BFGoodrich or Goodyear MTRs.

In the cab I am installing a Cobra DX IV CB with a 4ft Firestik antenna.

I plan on putting some pics on from Photobucket of before and then post them as we put the suspension on and rims.

After that.... lights and everything else a Zombie truck needs!

I hope you have as much with this as I am. Any ideas or suggestions are always appreciated.

First question for anyone out there.. how do you thread the antenna wire from the cab to the antenna in back without just running it out the door or the window? I want a clean install from cab to the truck bed.

get a hard mounting kit for the antenna, and drill your hole through the roof oooorrrr, run the wire down abd under the cab and up thru a drilled hole in the floorboard...

Or just go through the existing stock holes/gromets that the electrical wiring is already running through. No need to add holes to the truck.
