I have been lurking on the forum for about a month now checking out everybodys builds and i decided to begin my own. I bought my Runner in the beginning of March with 96,000 miles on it for $3,900. When i bought it the left rear shock was rusted and snapped straight through and 2 weeks prior somebody had cut the Cat out so its just a straight pipe with a stock muffler. To start i decided i wasnt going to put a lift in so i bought stock rear shocks all the way around. I installed the rear ones the week after i bought it. then i realized i needed new front coil springs and strut mounts which i have since purchased. I also bought a Red Thrusher cherry bomb to replace the stock muffler and im not going to put a Cat in i kinda like how loud it is now

so tomorrow the front struts and front pads and rotors are being replaced and the cherry bomb is going on

i have also began to start on removing my bumpers so that i can paint them.. im using dupli color bed liner i found a kit at advanced auto for $100 with 1 gallon of bed liner and everything else needed

I began to remove my rear bumper today and i guess i didnt realize what i was in for because i snapped 3 bolts and the heads of the bolts are stuck in the ratchet heads ill post pics later... so needless to say when i bring it to my mechanic tomorrow im going to have him get the bumpers off and ill drive the rest of the week bumperless til i have time next weekend to paint them

you got a pretty good deal from the look of the pictures the body is in great shape.... good luck with the bumper and bolts...
