Looks good Cody! Glad that paint worked out. I am excited to see how it holds up. I also see in your first post no mention of the sr5 fender flare upgrade that's gonna go down soon.

Hey brotha. So when I went wheeling with my Anthracite Rims I noticed a few things. I tore them up real bad when it was rocky, I ripped the valve stem out of 2 wheels and I realized how much I wanted a set of winter/moderate all terrains and then a set of wheelin mud terrains. I ended up swapping my mud terrains to the steelies so that I can have the hidden valve stems (only possible on the steal rim bc the pocket on my Anthracites aren't large enough) and also I don't have to worry about them getting beat up (which happens less because of they are have a deep concaved pocket). I will paint or most likely powder coat my Anthracites black and throw on the more conservative tires to use during the wintertime when I'm driving more road/snow terrain. Just wanted to throw out lessons learned to you.

Jason, that's a big big step. It'll show up when it's ready.

Paynemw, thanks again for the heads up man! Stock rims like that is definitely a bad thing when they're getting all chewed up like that. I still have my Tacoma ones just sitting in my garage haha. Have other priorities for the truck before getting those painted and mounted on whatever tires I'll decide on. I'm still thinking of some nice all terrains or something with a little more beef than an ordinary all terrain to mount them on for mainly street use. Couldn't pass up the deal I got on them though!

Thanks man, means a lot to me to hear that!

Also, just put picture up of my Ultra Gauge that I purchased, only took 2 days to get here and I installed immediately, for those of you who don't know what it is, it's a OBDII scan tool and a gauge display reader that can show everything from MPG's to engine temperature to fuel level. With over 75 gauges! I love it so far, definitely a good purchase, thanks Vital22re and Kiyobrown for convincing me to buy it!

Put up a couple more pictures.

Also added MotorSilk Engine Treatment, Gas Fuel System Treatment, and Automatic Transmission Treatment to my truck on Friday during my regular oil change. Already noticed a huge difference, usually getting around 180 miles per tank, I filled all the way up today, maybe 5 miles after my gas light had been on, and my trip meter read 219! That's almost 40 extra miles on a full tank. I did do about 3 hours of freeway driving, but that's still a huge jump! Definitely recommend to everyone here!

Logan, thanks dude, get one!

Jason, it's like putting God's oh so sterile urine in your system, so clean!

Slorunna, I'm loving the lift! Should have gone with the stiffer springs in the rear though now that I have the bumper, sound system, roof rack w/ spare tire (from time to time), soon to be spare tire swingout. It definitely sags with the spare on there, but pretty good smooth ride other than that!

Couple new pictures from a short wheeling trip this weekend!

Gray wire mod done! Well, in the 4Runner's case, it's the blue/red wire mod. Was over in Eastern Washington wheeling in the dunes over Memorial Day weekend and decided after a few hours it would be a good time to do the mod just in case. So I went into town, got a roll of 14 (or 16, can't remember) gauge wire, and a small box of butt connectors and ring terminals. Got everything wired up in under 15 minutes, definitely a quick and efficient modification to do if you have the E-Locker.

Took the mudflaps from my brother's old '94 Pickup, with some nuts, bolts and some steel pieces from the hardware store and a little drilling, they were hooked up! Cops shouldn't bug me now about not having mudflaps! Pictures up!

Also picked up a Hi-Lift jack, no place to mount yet though, it just sits in the back on the floor.

Bought an 84 Toyota Pickup, got the fog lights off of that, haven't thought of where to mount yet.

More to come!
