The taco swap looks good on the early 3rd gen's. I like the 01-02 big-lip front end better though.
Would love to read a writeup though!

So ive got a little time so i figure ill start with my write up. This whole thing started when i was hit head on by a damn Prius. As you can see my front end was pretty smashed up. I removed all of the damaged parts then sent the Runner to the body shop where they straightend the frame and inner fender well. Then i had to put together my oder list for all the Tacoma front clip parts. They are all aftermarket except the Radiator core support, that came out of an 04 Tacoma 4x4. I tried to make sure all the parts i was odering were from the same year just in case, which was an 04 Tacoma. I got Tacoma hood and hood hinges, fenders w/o flares, grill, headlights, marker lights, blinkers, bumper, valence, bumper top filler, headlight trim filler plates, and Tacoma bumper mounts. The rest of parts i got were just small hardware stuff to make everything fit together. Unfortunatly with the front end being a touch twisted ive had to do some fab work and man handle some of the body work to make things fit right but so far its working out pretty well. All the parts ive got from a Tacoma seem to bolt straight up with the Runner frame and inner body work, only minor tweaking or slotty of the holes was needed to line things up. If anyone has questions on the parts ive used feel free to ask.
