When I first lifted my 99 I used spacers in front and rear.

The first issue is fitting them. Without a hydraulic spring compressor it is a bear to actually fit the spacers.

Once fitted, they really change the spring rates as they not only increase the height of the strut but they compress the spring about another 1".

The net result of that was that the truck rode overly firm and it just looked like a bad engineering solution.

I switched to SAWs and they are a breeze to fit ( 20 mins per side) , rode great AND just seem like a great solution to the problem.

Guess I am just picky...
