I hate to plug an insurance company but you guys who have had a hard time getting a claim paid should look at Farmer's. My rates are about as cheap as I can find (last time I looked changing insurance companies would have only saved me about $100 per year divided across 4 vehicles!) and they never give me any problems - I've had them for years. The adjusters always fix ANYTHING even with the smallest blemish or previous damage, they let me take it anywhere I like but back up the work of a reccomended shop and they always use Genuine parts - though a couple of times they have used used genuine parts - but I've seen those parts and they were absolutely perfect. I've had two stereos stolen and the adjuster always worked hard to get me traded up. For example on one the guy asked "did it have CD changer controls? I said "I'm not sure - maybe not.....but I'm not sure" and he said, "OK, we'll assume that it did then". My $250 deductible ending up buying me a $300 upgrade to my stereo in that case.
