Worthwhile Tip for those changing CV shafts on 3rd Gen'S

I recently changed both shafts on my 99 runner .
A fairly easy job but then the pass side seal at the front diff started leaking.
I figured I damaged it on the install......but it was perfect.........except for the fact that the rubber seal had no rebound to it. Flex the seal and it stayed
flexed. It was junk.......so I replaced it. 2 weeks later .....there goes the drivers side! My truck has 140,000 miles on it.
Do yourself a favor an spend the 35.00 for 2 new seals and be aware of the install ! It's so simple , you can screw it up by sending the seal in too far.

Oh yeah........ would you believe one dealer in my town charges 5 bucks more for a seal than the other????
Hope this helps someone...
