Will they fit?
I'm considering buying a set of used nerf bars that came off a '02 Runner; mine's a '00. Are the frame and bracketry the same? I noticed in catalogs that some nerf bars for 3rd Gens apply only to 96-98 models. Sorry, I know this has been asked before, but the SEARCH function is still jacked up.

How much were you planning on spending on those nerf bars? Check out the vendor section - Richard Stubbs (member name weldpro) at http://www.stubbswelding.com is having a pretty good sale on his standard sliders and they'll be WAY more sturdy than a set of nerf bars.
There's some other guy selling a set for $99 too but I don't know what his are like. I do know that a good number of people have gotten Stubbs' and are very happy with the fabrication quality.
