So which ones are ya leanin towards? There is nothing wrong with any of the wheels you posted, I was just giving you some feedback on other options that I have experience with.

Some of those 4th gen wheels, IMO, don't match the style of the 3rd as well as they do with the 4th but its completely your choice and whatever you chose will help make your Runner YOURS.

Good luck man!

Fink... I have found a 1997 black 5 speed runner with under 60 000 miles on it... he wants to buy somthing to replace it first and then I will buy it from him... I have not heard from him yet, but also am not in a huge rush.. am getting married in 15 days now, and then we are gone for two and a half weeks... when we are back and settled down I am going to buckle down and look harder....

cheers
Bob

I think youre right about the 4th gen wheels, they dont really fit they style of the 3rd gen
im leaning towards the limited sequoia hyperwhite, but i dont want to spend more than $900 for wheels and tires.
I like the landcruiser wheels but im not sure how they'll look with the 265/65/16 tires I currently have.

if youre going to stick with the stock 265 width..then id stay with the factory 7" wheel. Other than the LC wheels, i'd go with the 99-00 LTD wheels..the 5 star ones. You can 285's on these as well. But if youre going to be upgrading to wider & taller tires, i'd opt for an 8" wheel. Not many designs out there that look really really good on the 3rd gen IMO.

fink: your ride looks big piimpin

mr bob: congrats on getting hitched!

Fuzion...I'll have 5 LTD wheels for sale here soon if you wanna pick em up from me

And no, my tires do not rub anywhere except for the front valence that has since been trimmed.

Thanks for the comps doubledown.

Well fink those look awesome,I am really trying to do my research and come up with a wheel(15" or 16") to run 255/85's or 33x10.5's and not have any frame rub.I bought my truck with some aftermarket alloys and my 285/75's rub the frame.I have not measured the back spacing, but they are similar in style to those wheels you have on your rig.My Taco and me reside in the rust/salt belt and the last thing I need to do is rub the coating/paint off the frame and help it start rusting.I am running ample lift to support any of these combos, just am looking to solve this situation in a way that will be 100% rub free.

These Lexus wheels don't rub the frame at all and they are 4.5" backspacing so if you could find something similar with the same backspacing that would probably work.

Thanks guys.. I believe I have found the one for me... I thought I would never find her!! She supported me through my HUGE bronco build which included 3 engines and 4 transmission swaps in ONE... yes ONE year... went from a 302, to a 302HO ( 5.0L ) mustang engine, to a fully built 351W, and I did a bunch with the AOD ( auto trans ) before throwing a ZF 5 speed manual from a F350 ( hard to find trans )

Not only that, but it went from fully stock, to 6" lift and 36s, locked front and rear, plus a million other upgreads, and what I listed above... One year...

Now the 4Runner project is about to start.... She is fully for it....

She is an amazing girl.... I'm lucky to have her!!!

Again.... thanks guys!!!

Perfect condition, honestly, they are in amazing condition.

I haven't come up with a price yet...but I would guess about $150 per wheel without centercaps and then $160 with the centercaps, centercaps match the condition of the wheels, flawless. That's a rough guess...I haven't done any research on pricing yet.

I have 5 but will sell all of them or just 4 of them depending on the buyers needs.

They are in immaculate condition, I have not checked on shipping but I think DHL will probably be the cheapest.

Like I said thats a rough guess, make me an offer via PM or email and we can talk.

Trust me, these things will go quick so if you want em, and you have a figure in mind let me know and I'll see what I think about it.
