Will port & polish affect mileage?

Just a quick question-
If a port & polish is performed on a cylinder head, will it affect the gas mileage?

Thanks!

Yes

Anything that increases HP will affect gas mileage. Not necessarily because of the modification, but because if your truck is faster, you'll be on the gas more!

If your driving habits don't change, It should improve mileage. The motor will be runing more effecient. I think.

Better flow = better combustion = better mileage, at least that's what I would assume. That is if you keep your foot off the pedal...
