i am replacing my front bumper. I have the valence panel. but the only replacement bumper i can find is chrome. I was wondering if the 98 sr5 bumper will fit. either that or the 99 limited bumper. just wondering, b/c i dont think you can paint chrome.

 

I don't know about the valence part but I had the same question with painting chrome. A friend of mine said it wasn't a big deal as long as the chrome part is prepped properly. Wondering if anyone has done this at a body shop and what was the approximate cost?

 

The 99+ limited bumper has the flares in the bumper. Won't work with the SR5.
I do have a mint 99 SR5 bumper and crush bar in chrome for sale.

 

nah i have the chrome bumper and the valence panel, just have to figure it out how to paint the dumb thing!!!!

 

its not too hard. do a search on it, someone did it and it turned out very nice
