so basicly....

if u are running a stock gen 3 4R, u can run 265/75r16's w/ no problem unless u got mud terrains which ther sidewalls rub a little on full turn

But w/ 285's, u would have to get wheel spacers or an 8" rim for no rubbing?

cause i am planning on getting 265/75R16 Procomp extreme terrains here shortly but if want to run 285's, then all i would have to do is like a 1" body lift and get an 8" rim? b/c i'm all up for that to run 285's instead of 265's.

i'm pretty sure ALL 265's fit fine.

i'm pretty sure you can even do a "street" or mild AT tire in 285 on the stock wheel and be "OK"

go to a MT or something with more tread and side lugs, and you have to go to spacers, new/modified upper arms, or get new wheels.

You would need a 1" Body lift + 2" suspension lift and 8" wheels.
Or 2" lift plus pinch weld trimming.(alot)

Which year LandCruiser wheels are you opting for? For whatever reason I like the older LC 5-spoke wheels from the models with the striaght-6 engine. Early 90's I think..

WHEELS ARE HERE!!!!!

THEY ARE IN VERY GOOD SHAPE, NOT A SINGLE GOUGE, ROAD RASH AT ALL

THEY DID NOT COME WITH CENTER CAPS, WHICH THEY DID TELL ME AT THE POINT OF SALE.

I am going to spray the insets, the little rounded triangle parts around the spoked area, going to do that tonight, then mount them, put them on my truck.

I am definitely happy with them, alot better shape than others I have seen online for WAY more money!

I did a quick sanding and respray of the area around the spokes, I used some VHT mag wheel paint, silver of course.

I cleaned all the wheels top to bottom, not to lie, they were covered with brake dust, tar etc, I should have taken a before picture, looked like crap.

Also had some clear coat peeling where a couple wheel weights were, as this is for my daily driver, I couldnt get involved with glass beading them etc, so I did a wetsand to blend it in, buff out the clear, then did a light clear over it.

I put quite a few coats of the silver, before I mount them I will give them a few coats of wax to help resist the brake dust.

I also need LC lug nuts for three of the wheels, one of the wheels though is identical in every way,,,,does accept the 4Runner lug nuts, which drop through the wheel..the other three are conical / bulge type seat...but for 50 bucks each I am not complaining.

Here they are......even on close inspection these are in real good shape now, I would rate them an 8-8.5 on a scale to ten.

absolutely no road rash on the wheels, all lips mint, put in all new valve stems, coated wheel weights, balanced out to perfect zeros with very very minimal weight about 1-2 ounces per wheel.

I called them friday evening, but they were already closed, and closed for the weekend. Do you know what time zone they are in? The wheels look amazing by the way. I hope I can get a set on my runner. Thanks again for the find.

these wheels would be ideal.......

I just spoke to the speed shop I used to work at, 8 inch rim is great for that tire size...
