Whoa..... H2 pussified????
Hold on a minute guys. You say the H2 is a "pussified" H1? And that the H2 is for the rich??? Uhhh.... the H1 costs 113 thousand dollars. The H2 costs 50 thousand. And let's not forget that a fully loaded, all the bells and whistles 4Runner costs upwards of 35 thousand dollars. And if you want to say a vehicle is "pussified", the 3rd generation 4Runners are a far cry from the original 4Runner. One could easily say they too are "pussified" as far as compared to the original.
Don't get me wrong.... I love my 1993 Runner. But to say that the H2 is pussified and that the 3rd generation 4Runners aren't is ludicrous. Granted, the original Hummer kicks ass. Probably the baddest 4 wheeler out there. But a lot of us aren't looking for an "army type, bust through the forrests, hills and trails vehicle". We want a daily driver that functions well on, and off road with some comforts along the way. And..... now we're talking about the newer 4Runners. They function well on and off road, but they are a far cry from those originals. It's easy to place them in the same catagory of "pussified" vehicles like the H2 right?
I just make the case that the H2 is a kick ass machine, just as the new 4Runners are... but, they both offer some creature comforts that their earlier "brother" didn't. Cheers!

Good luck fitting either version of the Hummer in between the trees on the tight trails we have in Colorado. I have seen the older Hummers get hung up on the rocker pannels because its too friggin long and the breakover angle sucks. IMHO Hummers in general are too long, too wide, and too expensive to make good trail runners. There are trails where they will do just fine and turn lots of heads but there are also lots of trails that a Hummer simply won't fit through and you'll look silly trying to run them.

Sombody talk to this guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Listen, everyone here at this forum knows Hummers and Toyota's are'nt pussified vehicles!!!! Orange & apples remember?
Great vehicles both serving not only in our country but in other country's also for different reasons, we'll you know!
I know several people who we're in the gulf war who rode in hummers & know about them saying they're alive because of them.
I have also seen Toyota's in the middle east- (4-door p/u's including the 4-runners & Landcruisers) that's runnin' around that country too, doing it's purpose.
Don't just do the math, there's history to learn too!!
